We have been beta testing the new firmware 87e. See our test flight below :-D
It's very impressive, once again. I really think Mikrokopter have done a great job with this firmware. The weather is cyclonic in Northern NSW, Australia at the moment, heavy wind and rain but that didn't stop us blasting around and testing some new features. Here are some new features.....
I am sure Holger will release a video showing off all the new features soon.

Over the past few months it has been interesting to watch these once small, yet ample machines become flying monsters of the sky! The answer isn't larger speed controllers that consume more Amps, but powering the copter more efficiently. Using larger batteries with more volts = less amps. Coupled with 16" hollow Carbon fibre paddle props and 5cm diameter, slow turning KV brushless motors, we believe we developed something brilliant :-) Aerobot are working away to provide commercial product, adaptable to the SkyJib and CineStar. Release date coming soon ;-) |

This new radio features 12 channels, bi-directional communication, backlit screen and best of all, in-built Mikrokopter telemetry with voice over commentary. Mikrokopter telemetry includes Altitude, Speed Controller Temperature, Radio Strength, Battery Voltage, mA used, distance from home, number of sattelites and error codes.
