The Octocopter

The octocopter consists of eight motors and propellers. It is the most suitable platform for smooth, slow and steady footage.

The octocopter comes in 2 different configurations;

1. Standard Configuration - 8 booms, propellers arranged in a circular format

2 Co-Axial Configuration (X8) - 4 booms, one propeller spinning upwards, and one propeller spinning downwards. 

Smooth and steady footage can be achieved with both configurations however the standard configuration is the best out of the two. The X8 is great for photography and ease of travel.

Standard lift is available (cameras/payloads up to 1kg) and heavy lift is available (cameras/payloads up to 2.25kg).
